I was reading about the impact of hurricane Katrina on Louisiana, basically what will happen when it finally hits, and OMG! Okay, the word 'coffins' was mentioned more than once!!! Because the city has so many old cemeteries, they are positive they are going to have to deal with a giant stagnant lake of contaminated materials, waste, and COFFINS!!! Eeeeewwwww! If I ever saw anything like that EVER, I'd completely be traumatized for life! And one million people are going to be homeless, worst case scenario. I feel soooo bad right now, you know, like it isn't fair for something so uncontrollable to happen to so many people. :(
Well, if ever i was to pray, it would be to stop something like this...

Hey everyone. I haven't been online since, like, April or May, basically the beginning of summer. Much has happened, and I really don't feel like talking about 99 percent of it :); however, if you guys happen to go to starbucks and see that really cute dirty blond, do not hesitate to throw dirty glances :) At this point, it's still up in the air, but we're pretty sure it's correct, he's a chicken shit who completely humiliated me :).
(side note: these smiley faces have been forced...highly forced...)

I don't know who is going to be down from school yet, but for the rest of everyone who still lives here with lil' ole me, there's a battle of the bands in boca (i know, far) that I'm going to on April 30th (it's a Saturday). it starts @ nine, the band i'm there to "support" with my friend steve is wakestate and they're on @ ten-thirty. if you wanna go tell me, so we can meet up or if only a couple of you can make it, we can drive up together. It's on Spanish River Blvd. (not sure where exactly, but i'll ask steve) @ "Surf Cafe." Oh, and there's a $5 cover for 18 and up, but i got another flyer saying it's only $5 for 21 and up and under 21 is $7, so be ready for a $7 cover just in case. :)

btw, I'm feeling a lot better than I was yesterday, and thanx for the sympathy! :) luv u guys!

Just a warning: I am not holding back at all in this rant and I am actually going to be completely honest no matter how much it hurts who it's about...

Well, today I managed to get into hopefully the last fight I will have with a certain person (she knows who she is if she should find this) because I will no longer put up with her complete bullshit and making me feel like crap! She may not have thought of it as serious, but it went past the actual materialness of the argument. I didn't care so much that I could have met the band and gotten free tickets had you not "forgotten" about me, but that you do this EVERY FUCKING TIME!! You act like it's no big deal, that I shouldn't feel upset/offended/hurt in any way, shape, or form, that I should get over it right now and stop wasting your time. Well, guess what, sweetheart? I've gotten over it! Cause we're over for real now. I'm NOT going to have you walk all over me! I'm NOT going to censor my emotions because you don't know how to express yours! And I SURE AS HELL won't forgive you this time!!! I have fucking had it with you and your fucking selfish attitude, and your stupid drugs, and your stupid whorish promiscuity! I want nothing to do with any of it! I am nothing like you, I don't know how the hell we were friends in the first place, and if you read this and are wondering how the hell I can be saying this to you, well, sweety, it's about time someone fucking told you! You were a horrible friend most of the time, you made me feel good about myself in the beginning and then you hurt me repeatedly! You hid things from me, I know you've lied to me, even stupid little things (you lie to everyone even for no reason - stupid little lies), and you make me feel too much like shit to forgive you...once again. It sucks that this had to happen over some stupid concert tickets, but the way you go about things, really, it as if you really don't care about anyone's feeling but your own, and that's too much for me! I can't handle a friend who doesn't give a shit about their friends enough to watch what they say to them and at least attempt to consider their feelings! At times, I thought you were the best thing that happened to me; at times, I must have had my head up my ass...

Without this "friend" of mine, however, I can go back to having friends who care about their friends, and renew the friendships that she caused me to lose by being herself and hurting people. I am reassured I'm doing the right thing by ending our friendship with the thought of having "normal" friends, a lot like you guys out there that read these journals of mine (you are AWESOME people no matter what you may think, and I would know, cause I've seen what's out there obviously, and it's not too pretty).

To all of my friends out there: you mean more to me than you think, and I really cannot say this enough, but I'm very thankful to have you guys :)

Would anyone want to take a Latin course with me, to learn the language? I really want to learn it, and it's not offered at FAU on any of the campuses! But, BCC might offer it, so I could take it over the summer. I've heard it's really a useful language to know, although it can kick your ass it's so hard. But, I'm game!

I don't know what to do. I work at stupid Target and I really don't think to highly of the place. I need money over the summer if I ever want to save up enough to move out. Right now, I work Saturdays and Sundays (every weekend), but I don't close, just morning or mid-shift. The thing is, at Target "closing" is staying till about 1:30-2:00 in the wee hours of the morning: not fun!!! my boss told me that in order for me to get anywhere near full time schedule, I need to open up my availability...all the way! This means the insane closing hours, and most likely, knowing how they really don't give a shit what you think, i will be closing every fucking night!!! So...my dilemma is whether or not I should open up my availability, suck it up, and earn more money (I only get paid $6.75 - not much for the shit I have to put up with), or should I stick with my weekends and look for a new job that will possibly give me better options, like closing and actually leaving the same day, and the possiblilty of better pay. If someone has a idea for a different type of job, like some clerical job (I've already worked in a restaurant/pizza place - not my cup of tea either), I'm very willing to hear you out...

Since Aby knows what she's talking about, in my opinion, when it comes to writing, (it's probably cause you have good taste in literature) I have decided to put up my two poems I wrote (with explanations) a while ago (not sure when, sometime in the past year and a half). I'd like to hear what people think of them :)

The first one, Afterlife, is about someone, probably a spouse, dying and the other trying to stay sane while not doing a very good job at it; it's pretty religious actually, but also bordering agnostic. The second one goes by verses: the first verse is the view of a child; the second, an adolescent; the third, an adult, not too old, not too young; and the last is about an older person, who has lost the love of her life, or her life partner, or whatever. It's each of their views on how the world is to them and the things in it, and what matters the most. And I like how I had the last verse carry into the first again with the playing of songs (like the children do), as if life is going on and beginning all around the person, while their own is winding down. Hope you like them and don't think I'm crazy! :)

I get home, relax for like a half an hour, and then I realize I have to go to the bank and get my dad the forty bucks I owe him because I just had to have those cds. Also, because it's me and I'm brilliant, I owe my FAU library fucking 26 dollars in late fees (don't ask!). So, I ask my dad if he is going to be home tomorrow; he is, but he sees through this: "You didn't go to the bank yet, did you?" WTF!!! Damn mind reader! "No, but I'll go now." "No, that's okay." "No, dad. You want me to go, I'll go." "No, what if something happens to you?" "Then you'd feel bad. Bye!" I go to the bank. On the way, my battery light starts flashing, but sporadically. It stops, and I tell myself I won't go anywhere, and the car will calm down, ot something. *big sigh* I get to the bank, withdraw 66 bucks outta my savings (didn't really want to go in there - for emergency use only) Start to go home. Get to the four-way stop in front of my house...car DIES!!!!!!!! Just...dies...just like that. Everything is off, people are honking at me, I'm waving them on, they stop honking, if I get out I'll get hit.... So I call my dad, the jinx, and "my car died at the 4-way stop, come get me," he picks up, where are you (parents never listen the first time) "I'm at the 4-way stop." "Put on your emergency lights." "...I don't know how." (I had always planned on figuring it out, just never got to it - I know, stupid of me, whatever.) Conversation on his side continues with a bunch of incomprehensible exclamations..."I'll be right there!" Click. It's hot, and I'm sweating, and my car is freaking broke, and there is this latino guy asking me if I need help, which was nice, but the whole situation was just so fucking laughable, knowing my luck. My dad comes, and him and the spanish dude push my car, me steering, onto the swale. My dad stares at the car, just like in the dane cook comedy cd, where he says people stare at their cars after they get into accidents, as if their staring together will somehow magically fix the damage. So, "what the hell" i think, and I go stare at the car with my dad, all the while not knowing what the hell either of us are staring at. And then he says I'll have to get in the car and maybe he can push me (and ruin my bumper) all the way home, about half a mile, I guess. I get in, not happy at all with the idea, and whaddaya know? All the staring worked! The car started, my dad goes "gun it, gun it!!!" I say "what?!? What am I doing? Gun what...what are talking about it?" "GO!!" "Oh! You could have just said that." I go, and as soon as I get on the swale in front of my house, it dies again. I laugh. And then I cry. I'm hoping to get it fixed tomorrow, but who the hell knows? With my luck, I'll have to hitch a ride with the folks...the really...really...slow-driving (it'll take two hours to get to school) folks...

I hadn't talked to one of my friends in a while (long story) and I finally did yesterday. Says he'll call me tomorrow. It's like the evening already, I look at my phone, no one has called. I'm like, "he wouldn't do that." I check my received calls list: sure as hell his name is there saying he called two hours earlier!!! Goddamn little fucker-phone didn't tell me, and this isn't the first time! Stupid phone. Sorry, just venting. It's managed to get on my nerves quite a lot lately, and it has finally reached my limit.
On another note, Aby I'm sorry if I monopolized your spring break, and Yasmine, I'm sorry I didn't think to invite you to the one act.

I just got this journal. Now I can actually communicate with people.
I just found out my friend is psycho. SURPRISE! You'll never believe who he seems to want to stalk! Aby. Who'd have thought. Wanna know how we know this? In Aby's words: "No, you write!"
He kept asking questions, what would seem like normal questions, except there were many and they didn't stop coming!! Now I have to see him tomorrow at FAU and I'm uneasy cause it freaked me out when he did it. He's not usually like that. Don't you love it when your close friend turns psycho? Happens more than you think.
